Newry City 0-6 Linfield
Linfield striker Curtis Allen scored his second hat-trick in 24 hours as Newry crumbled at the Showgrounds.
Allen bagged three in a reserve game on Friday and was then rewarded with a first senior start for the Blues.
He ghosted in at the far post for his first on 29 minutes and Jim Ervin netted a penalty after Emmett Friars had brought down Paul Munster.
Allen netted two in the second half, Ervin converted another penalty and Kris Lindsay headed in the sixth goal.
