Raven faces surgery on hip injury

Carlisle United defender David Raven will have to undergo surgery on a hip injury which will see him sidelined for at least four months.
The 24-year-old was a Brunton Park regular until limping off in the first half of the Blues 4-2 over Macclesfield in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Raven returned to training but doctors have now confirmed that he needs the surgery to return to full fitness.
The operation is scheduled for Monday, 16 November.
