Drinkhall makes early Open exit

England's number one Paul Drinkhall crashed out of the English Open in the second round to China's Qi Chen.
The triple European junior champion from Middlesbrough was beaten 11-3 11-5 12-10 11-6 in Sheffield.
Portugal's Tiago Apolonia followed up his shock first-round win over Wang Liqin by beating Korea's Se Hyuk Joo.
Another Korean hopeful, Oh Sang Eun, fell victim to Andrej Gacina of Croatia but top three seeds, Ma Long, Timo Boll and Ma Lin, all reached the last 16.
