Salford City Reds have signed centre Stephen Tyrer on a season-long loan from St Helens.
The 20-year-old follows his Saints team-mate Matty Smith in moving from a loan spell at Celtic Crusaders last season to The Willows.
The goal-kicking centre made eight Super League appearances last term.
"He brings a wealth of options and will be looking to show everyone what he's capable of," said Salford director of football Steve Simms.
"Stephan has played a lot of Super League and comes from good rugby league stock at St Helens.
"Like Matty Smith, he has been playing a long way from home at the Crusaders so this move will make things easier for him to concentrate on his game," Simms added.
Tyrer is set to join Shaun McRae's squad for pre-season training on 16 November.
